At Cake Love, taste is queen! Our custom-made buttercream wedding cakes are a true labor of love, matched to your vision. Moist cake, velvety smooth buttercream...simply decadent. And, yes, design is important too.

So, what’s our process for engaged couples?

Starting with a no-cost consultation, Pam is all ears! She’ll ask you some basic questions about the location of your wedding, time of your ceremony, number of guests, theme and colors, and your cake, of course. She collaborates with you to bring your vision to life. Whether you want a tiered cake with florals or no florals, a heart-shaped cake with vintage piping, or a cupcake tower, Pam strives to give you the Cake Love of your dreams.

Our cakes and buttercreams are made with premium ingredients and can be made according to your dietary needs—gluten-free, dairy-free, with no sugar added, or, yes, full of gluten, dairy, and sugar.

Our expert delivery team will deliver and set up your custom creation on your special day. Our goal...when you walk in the room and see it for the first time, we want you to feel and say That’s exactly what I wanted!

Our Wedding Process & Timeline:

• 6-12 months+ out: no-cost consultation with Pam

• 6-9 months out: let’s sign that contract and pay the deposit to save your date

o   NOTE: The deposit is $125; the balance is due seven days before your wedding

o   Many couples are booking earlier so their date is secure

• Once your date is secure, introduce Pam and your event planner (if using one)

• Cake tasting – can be done before or after booking with us, but should be done by two months out

o   Before booking, the tasting will cost $125. Should you decide to book with us, we will credit the tasting cost to the total cost of your wedding cake

o   Couples select three flavors of cake and buttercream to try

o   We will send the invoice for the tasting

o   Pam prepares and delivers the cake on a predetermined day/time to an address of your choice

o   Pam drops off the cake – she does not hang out to watch you eat the cake

o   If she hasn’t heard from you after a couple of days, Pam checks in via email

• 4-6 months out: share any inspirational pics you find (many have a Pinterest page they share with us – you can share via Pinterest or email)

• 3-4 months out: design session(s) with Pam

o   We will finalize design and flavor(s)

o   Talk about cake stands, cake table décor, etc.

• 2-4 months out: if using real florals on cake, order them from your florist or connect Pam with your florist

• 1 month out: design is final, no more changes

• 7 days out: final payment is due

• Day of your wedding: we deliver and set up your cake at the venue

o   Most often, you won’t see us, but there will be evidence we were there!

• 1-2 weeks after your wedding: we will send you an Experience Questionnaire to gather your feedback about your Cake Love experience

• 11 months after your wedding: let’s start planning that one-year anniversary cake!
